You are required to register before taking any GED examination.

  • For information about how to register, call 306.8866 x7907 to schedule an orientation/registration appointment or testing appointment.
  • Registration sessions are Monday at 9 a.m. or Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Registration Procedure and Requirements

To register for the GED exams you must:

  1. Fulfill the requirements established by the GED Testing Service and the State GED Office.

  2. Schedule an appointment for an orientation session by calling 650.306.8866 extn. 7907. (A referral form or documentation required for testing may be needed before you schedule your exams).

  3. Complete all the forms for the State GED Office and the Sequoia Adult GED Testing Center.

***The Day of Your Test...

  1. Bring your Identification Document. No one will be permitted into the testing session without an ID.

  2. Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. Late arrivals will not be permitted into the testing room.

  3. Come prepared:
    • No breaks are allowed during the testing session.
    • Don’t bring foods or drinks into the testing room.
    • Don’t bring cell phones, or any type of  recording devices, or any other items such:
      • textbooks, dictionaries, supplies, jackets, coats, hats, backpacks.
      • If you come with any of the items above, we will place them in the storage area before you may enter the testing room.

  4. If you can’t make your appointment, please call to let us know, and leave a message with your name, phone #, and test time in order to reschedule your test.

  5. If you feel sick the day of the test, please don’t come. -If you come to the test not feeling well, you may disrupt the testing session and we may ask you to leave. – We will be glad to reschedule your test to another time.

 

 

ALL GED TESTING IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
